Dearest Chocovision. . .

Dearest Chocovision,

I’m a little apprehensive. If this offends you, I’m sorry.  I don’t normally do this, send out my personal feelings into the blogosphere. But, I wanted you to know how I truly feel.

I love chocolate, I really do. Chocolate has been there for me in the good times and the bad. My recipes are somehow escalated with chocolate’s very presence. However, we’ve been having rough times lately. We have trouble connecting. The busier I’ve been with Confectionalism the less I’m able to give chocolate the care it needs and deserves.

Tempering is so time consuming, and I know I should try harder, I know I should make more time to temper chocolate, to enrobe all of my baked goodies with chocolate, but space in my kitchen is limited. Tabling chocolate is one of my favorite things for us to do together, but it involves time, care, and the proper surfaces to do so. Seeding is less space consuming, but I don’t feel it gives chocolate the respect it deserves.

This is where you come in, Chocovision. We need your help. I’ve admired you from afar for a long time.  I feel the relationship Chocolate and I have could benefit greatly with your involvement, a Ménage à trois per say. Please don’t be offended. I love you too. Chocolate and I both do.
Problem is you haven’t really made yourself available. I’m pretty tight on cash at the moment, as i’m only in my 20’s and haven’t established myself very well financially. This seems to be a turn off for you. I’m sorry. If only I could win your heart. I think we’d all be great together, and in due time and proper finances, maybe we’ll be together one day.

My friends would love you. I tried to explain who you were, but they were too busy using candy melts to care. I don’t like candy melts, and obviously neither does chocolate. I can wait to show my friends how awesome you truly are.  Did I mention how handsome you are? You are so handsome it hurts, Like if I were to stare at the sun so long it turned me blind and I would never be able to frost a cake properly because it would look like a 3 year old did it, then chocolate would probably leave me, because she isn’t very forgiving. That is how blindingly handsome you are.

I really, really, really, hope that You, Chocolate, and I all end up together. I think we are a superb match. At least, that’s what my readers say after I told them we should be together. Let’s hang out some time. With bills the way the stand right now, I can’t fund our relationship. But hopefully soon I’ll be able to. For now, Chocolate and I will admire you from afar, but rest assured we won’t give up until we have you.

I hope that wasn’t too forward, as I don’t know how you feel about me.  Just know that chocolate will have more presence on Confectionalism once we are are united. I have great hope for our future all together.

Love always,
Nicole and Chocolate
(Your now, not so secret, Admirers)
